1. What is communication?
Communication is sharing our
feelings, ideas and opinions with others. This can be intellectual, personal,
spoken or written in nature. We live in groups and man is invariably a social
animal. As the social needs insist that we share our thoughts with others. This
can be called communication. It is a two-way process. In spoken communication,
we have speakers and listeners who send and receive verbal messages from each
other. In written communication, we have writers and readers, whereas in visualization
and observation, the symbols and signs are included.
Communication needs to be
effective in business. Communication is essence of management. The basic
functions of management (Planning,
Organizing, Staffing, Directing and Controlling)
cannot be performed well without effective communication. Business
communication involves constant flow of information. Feedback is integral part
of business communication. Organizations these days are verly large. It
involves number of people. There are various levels of hierarchy in an
organization. Greater the number of levels, the more difficult is the job of
managing the organization. Communication here plays a very important role in process
of directing and controlling the people in the organization. Immediate feedback
can be obtained and misunderstandings if any can be avoided. There should be
effective communication between superiors and subordinated in an organization,
between organization and society at large(for example between management and
trade unions). It is essential for success and growth of an organization.
Communication gaps should not occur in any organization.

4. The Cylcle of Good
Communication According to My Opinion
The explanation :
The good communication begins
when person (the sender) transmits an information or a message to someone else
(the receiver). This message has meaning to the sender, so the message must be encoded. After the message has been
encoded, the message is received and it is decoded by the receiver. The
receiver gives feedback to the sender as the confirmation about the particular
message that has been carefully understand.
