Leadership in Entreprenuership

            According to Shane, S.A, Leadership in Entrepreneurship can be defined asone who undertakes innovations, finance and business acumen in an effort to transform innovations into economic goods. This refers to not only the act of entrepreneurship as managing or starting a business, but how one manages to do so by these social processes, or leadership skills. Entrepreneurship, in itself, can be defined as the process by which individuals, teams, or organizations identify and pursue entrepreneurial opportunities without being immediately constrained by the resources they currently control.

            An entrepreneur typically has a mindset that seeks out potential opportunities during uncertain times. This leads us to see that an entrepreneur must have leadership skills or qualities in order to see potential opportunities and act upon them. An entrepreneur, at the core, is a decision maker. Such decisions often have an impact on an organization as a whole, which is representative of their leadership amongst the organization.

A.      The Traits of  Leadership
       Efforts to assess the success or failure of a leader can be done by observing and recording characteristics and quality or the quality of his behavior, used as a criterion for assessing leadership. Systematic efforts that produce the theory that called The Traits Theory of Leadership.

George R. Terry in his book " Principle of Management 1964" writes ten superior traits of leadershipe are:

B.      The Priciples of Leadership Entrepreneurship

      Fully master the principles and actions of of entrepreneurship leadership is a process that demands growth along with three components, namely an individual's personal development, effective teamwork and change of organization. These are 10 principles and implementation principles that teach and foster of principle activities that will develop the attributes of  entrepreneurship leadership to the entire organization :

         Decision-making process begins with the identification of problems encountered and ends with an evaluation of the implemented solutions. The five steps in the decision-making are:

2.         Evaluating the solutions thatpossiblecan be applied.
3.         Selecting a solution that in inference.
4.         Applying the solution.
5.         Evaluating the results that is achieved.

       Three main factors or forces which affect the determination of the behavior of entrepreneurial leadership which will be used to make decisions are:

3. The power in leadership situations

F.      Leadership Situation in General

      A leader shows the three main types of behavior when they had fulfilled their obligations.The first type of behavior is called behavioral structure. Behavior of the structure is a leadership activity that describes the relationship between the leader and followers of the leader or set well-defined procedures that must be obeyed by followers in doing their duties.

G.     The Criteria of Leadership Successful

   1. Increased production results and the provision of services by the organization (technical                                 and economical aspects).
        2.  The more neat and more effective administrative systems management include:
         a.   Human resource management, nature, funding, facilities and time are more    economical and   efficient.
            b.    The right man in the right place, with a broad delegation of authority.
           c.     Organizational structure according with the needs of the organization and there is an integration     of all the parts.
d.  Targets and objectives to be achieved always fulfilled in accordance with the time schedule.

3.      Increasing human activities or social aspects of human nature, such as:

 a.  There is work discipline, self-discipline, sense of responsibility, and high moral within the organization.
  b.   There is an atmosphere of mutual trust, cooperation, cooperative and high work ethic.
  c.    There is a high enthusiasm in work and loyalty to the organization.
  d.    There are social guarantees that satisfy.
